Girls Only: Spooky Science

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.  It’s time to make things bubble, fizz, glow and ooze in this eerie after hours event just for girls.  We’ll also create spooktacular masks, sparkling costume accessories and quivering decorations using simple circuits, LED lights and 3D printed trinkets.  Pizza, drinks and snacks provided.

GIRLS ONLY: WEARABLE CIRCUITS

Participants will design their own bracelets, hair and fashion accessories and make them shine! They will learn how to create circuits using LED lights to make their accessories light up. Have a favorite accessory at home and want to add some bling? Participants can bring it with them and make it sparkle.

 ROCK BAND LAB WORKSHOP

Participants will create an epic instrument using everyday materials and connect it to littleBits electronic components and watch the instrument come alive. Then form a rock band and jam together to make a music video! Participants can post their projects and music on the littleBits website for potential prizes!
